Nightscape Lighting Project of Chongqing Grand Theater

Project Information

The project adopts a lot of EXC-LED pixel lights and light control systems with total over 600,000 pixel lights and 10,000m wall washer. It uses modern technology to promote intelligent centralized control of outdoor led lighting and switches on and off nightscape lights with differentiation according to ordinary days, weekends and major holidays.

Chongqing Grand Theater
Located at Jiangbeizui CBD, Chongqing Grand Theater with total construction area of 103,307.1㎡ is a large-scale social and cultural facility integrating opera, drama, concert and cultural & artistic exchange and multi functions. The outer wall adopts emerald color and the structure adopts a double-layer ventilation glass curtain wall system. When strong light applies to the outer layer of glass, the air between two layers heats up and rushes out from the top, which not only make the wall good looking but also effectively relieve the overheating of inner layer. The project adopts EXC-P52S RGB all-color led pixel light; since the peripheral glass wall is internally transparent, the theater in the night is like a bright and transparent crystal ball.
