Dege, meaning “Land of Virtue,” is the birthplace of King Gesar and the heart of Kham culture. The Dege County urban nightscape construction project encompasses the “Kham Cultural Capital” cultural tourism integration park area and the nighttime illumination of Dege County. The project integrates the city’s cultural attributes by dividing the lighting areas into Dege mountain culture lighting, Dege water culture lighting, Dege architectural culture lighting, Dege landscape culture lighting, and Dege urban node lighting. It emphasizes the use of color, space, and balance to highlight these cultural elements, enhancing the nighttime life of the Dege people and promoting the development of the night economy.
