Expo 2020 Dubai, the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, took place from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022, after a one-year delay. The China Pavilion, named “Light of China,” was one of the largest pavilions at the Expo. Its theme, “Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind – Innovation and Opportunity,” highlighted the development opportunities and potential for cooperation brought to countries along the Belt and Road Initiative, fully reflecting China’s vision of promoting global development and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
